Employees Only made the list by being everything the CBD usually isn't: a hidden speakeasy with NYC pedigree, a real cocktail bar with a real kitchen, and a Happy Hour built around drinks people actually want to drink.

We're two minutes from Wynyard Station, four from Martin Place, and one short flight of stairs from the noise of the street. Tuesday through Friday, the room fills with people who finished work and decided not to go home yet. The Happy Hour runs from 4pm to 6pm. The late licence runs until 3am on Friday and Saturday. Most people stay longer than they meant to.

Tuesday to Friday, 4pm to 6pm. We open the bar at 4pm sharp. Walk-ins welcome.

Smart casual. Black tie not required, but the room rewards effort.
