The best bar near Wynyard.
Two minutes' walk from the York Street exit. A hidden New York speakeasy on Barrack Street with award-winning cocktails, a Happy Hour from 4pm, and a late licence until 3am. Walk-ins always welcome.
A two-minute commute home.
If you're standing on the Wynyard concourse, you are closer to a proper New York cocktail than you think. Exit on York Street, walk one block north toward Circular Quay, turn left onto Barrack Street. The red "psychic" sign is mid-block on the right. Take the staircase down.
That two-minute walk takes you out of the office tower and into the Sydney outpost of one of the world's most-listed cocktail bars. The room is moody and low-lit, the bartenders trained in New York, the burlesque is on Friday and Saturday and the kitchen runs late.
Most people who try us once now stop at Wynyard and skip the train.
